Even if few have ever played the highest levels, Jews in the Britain (and the Commonwealth diaspora) can love football (soccer). Blah, blah, blah — welcome to Does Your Rabbi Know You're Here — and Happy Hanukkah! Admittedly, it did lose out to Tyler Hamilton's The Secret Race in competition for the 2012 William Hill Sports Book of the Year prize, but to be fair it wasn't on the list.
